Der Titel ist sicher etwas irreführend, ich habe im Juli etwas verschenkt was ich hier noch überhaupt nicht gezeigt habe. Schade eigentlich, denn es ist mein Meisterstück! Nur habe ich immer darauf gehofft, euch ein Foto mit Inhalt zeigen zu können. Aber irgendwie habe ich es verpasst, obwohl es genug Gelegenheiten gegeben hätte. So kann ich euch nur zwei Handyfotos zeigen und die entstandene Collegejacke lieblos an unserer Wohnwand hängend. Sobald ich ein schöneres Foto habe werde ich es nachreichen!
Diese Jacke habe ich als Geburtstagsgeschenk für meinen Bruder genäht. Ich höre jetzt schon das Telefon klingeln und meine Mutter fragen, seit wann hast du einen Bruder? Ich habe ihn quasi adoptiert!
Die Jacke habe ich nach einem Schnittmuster von Fred von SOHO „Papas Herzblatt“. Die Anleitung ist sehr detailiert und verständlich geschrieben. Am schwierigsten sind die Paspeltaschen, hier muss man sehr akurat arbeiten. Wenn ihr euch richtig erinnert habe ich schon zwei kleine Collegejacken genäht und habe lange überlegt ob ich mich an eine Große wagen soll. Sie ist schon aufwendig, ich habe zwei Tage daran genäht. Aber nachdem ich im letzten Schritt die Druckknöpfe ohne Probleme befestigt bekommen habe, war ich einfach nur glücklich und stolz.
Timon musste die Jacke anprobieren, da er eine ähnliche Statur hat und ihm gefiel die Jacke auch. Das Geburtstagskind war außer sich vor Freude, die Jacke passt wie angegossen und er trägt sie wirklich sehr oft. Und das ist der größte Beweis, dass es das richtige Geschenk war.
Ich weiß nicht warum ich vorher noch nicht für Herren genäht habe, aber es braucht halt sehr viel Stoff um so einen Herren zu bekleiden! Es war sicher nicht das letzte Teil, Timon möchte gerne einen Hoodie haben, von genäht hat er allerdings nichts gesagt.
Ich habe noch einen super schönen Collegejacken-Schnitt für Damen liegen, er ist auch schon vorbereitet, es scheitert gerade am passenden Reißverschluß! Aber es wird wirklich Zeit, dass ich wieder etwas für mich nähe, es liegen so viele schöne Schnitte und Stoffe im Arbeitszimmer herum. Es fehlt halt irgendwie die Zeit!
